Walking With The Invisible
After hearing the theme, I immediately thought black & white. Invisible meant monotone. In that moment it felt right. It was a gloomy year so I felt, "Hey, it works out". After talking with Pastor James, he told me he was thinking the same thing, but he did not want to go that direction. He told me to go with Psalm 23, especially verse 6. There was one thing he wanted to get through to everyone. Which was, "Hope should and will swallow up suffering." He wanted color and lots of it.
Inspiration:
To Pastor James
"Mostly Jazz era. Even the 90's graphics and the colors. The color palette was a huge factor. It resonates with me a lot and it gives me a direction. I was wondering how you felt about it. I know the 90's style and culture is popular now and it screams color. Considering verse 6 and all the things we talked about. I feel like the students will respond and resonate with the aesthetic. It also hits everything we talked about. How hope overcomes suffering. Things should be hopeful."
